A Winter in Verbier: Season 2024/25 Recap

As daffodils continue to push through the remaining snow, and the last ski lift in Verbier slows to a stop (this Sunday 27th April!), we’re feeling nostalgic and reflecting on what has been another brilliant season.

Winter 2024/25 delivered on every front. From our team of returners and new staff exceeding all  expectations, to those unexpected deep powder days in mid-April – here’s an insight into the whirlwind that has been the last five months here at Verbier Exclusive!

Verbier’s high-altitude location proved once again why it’s one of the most snow-sure resorts in the Alps. With ski lifts open for a total of 141 days, guests enjoyed everything from those classic Verbier bluebird days to back-to-back snowstorms – the most impressive dumping a staggering 1.2 metres of fresh snowfall in just 36 hours this April. Powder lovers were treated to epic conditions late into the season (and just in time for Easter), making it one to remember.

Over 20 weeks that flew by, as always, much too quickly - we had the pleasure of welcoming 967 guests to our luxury Verbier chalets. Whether welcoming back a family for their beloved annual ski retreat, or hosting a friend group for their New Year’s celebrations, our team of returning and new staff ensured every stay was crafted to perfection.

We did the maths, and this means our private chalet chefs plated up 4,835 bespoke gourmet dinners, each one crafted around our guests' personal preferences. And of course, no ski holiday is complete without bubbles… 669 bottles of Champagne, to be exact (670, including our staff end-of-season drinks!). We love setting the scene for your celebrations, and toasts echoed through our chalets all season long.

We were thrilled to introduce our newest chalet, Chalet Kitsilano, to the portfolio this year. With its modern alpine design, awesome views and facilities, and our signature service offering, it quickly became a firm favourite. Seven groups had the pleasure of experiencing life behind its walls this season, and based on their kind feedback, it’s set to continue being a highly in-demand property for next winter!

We’re incredibly proud of the lovely feedback received this season, with guests old and new rating their stays at an average of 9.7 out of 10. Our year-round team - with over 167 years of combined ski industry experience - as always went above and beyond to make every moment count.

Married with the hard work of our on-the-ground drivers, hosts, housekeepers, chalet managers and chefs - not a single team member’s dedication went unnoticed! Here are a few of our feedback highlights from this winter:
