In 1992, the original Ski Verbier began operating high-end catered ski chalets, building a strong reputation for excellence in the ski holiday industry. 7 years later, in 1999, Tom Avery completed a winter season as a driver, falling in love with Verbier and the 4 Vallees. Following his expeditions across the North and South Poles, in 2009 Tom founded Verbier Exclusive Ltd, establishing the company as a luxury travel and chalet operator, with Chalet Les Attelas as its very first exclusive property. In 2014, Verbier Exclusive Ltd reacquired the original Ski Verbier, merging the two to create Ski Verbier Exclusive, blending the Ski Verbier portfolio with the refined new identity. In 2017, Tom Avery became the sole owner of Ski Verbier Exclusive, relocating our offices to the Cotswolds.

In 2023, we joined the Eterniti group, strengthening our position and dedication to providing exceptional experiences. Eterniti is known for their forward-thinking approach, seamlessly integrating technology and hospitality across Europe’s most sought-after destinations. This partnership allows us to enhance every experience, delivering impeccable service but with the same personal touch that defines us.

In 2024, we rebranded to ‘Verbier Exclusive’, showcasing Verbier not only as a world-class ski destination but as one of the finest mountain resorts year-round. The new name reflects our evolution as Verbier's leading high-end luxury operator and becoming a 'jewel' of Eterniti. Whilst we remain the trusted team our guests know and love we recognise the need to keep developing, whilst still appealing to the world's most discerning travellers.
