Evening Verbier Restaurants
Fer a Cheval
This central spot is a favourite with both locals and visitors alike. With a lively apres-ski atmosphere and sun-trap terrace, this is an excellent option for continuing your post-ski drinks into a casual evening meal. You can choose from an excellent range of pizzas and pasta dishes, including their famous lasagne.
Table d’Adrien
Verbier’s Michelin-starred restaurant, La Table d’Adrien, is located within the Chalet d’Adrien hotel, adjacent to the Savoleyres lift. Head Chef Sebastiano Lombardi combines imaginative and delicate Italian cuisine with carefully chosen wines. The creative and inspiring menu is as much about experience as it is about taste, so this is a perfect way to spend an evening enjoying the cuisine and service.
La Marlenaz
If you’re looking for a beautiful mountain restaurant surrounded by nature, this is the place for you. La Marlenaz combines stunning views across Verbier with excellent food. On the menu are traditional Swiss dishes such as fondu, rosti, and Croûte au fromage made with locally sourced ingredients and a selection of mouth-watering desserts.
Farinet
If you want to let your hair down, enjoy some delicious cocktails and live music and have a carefree dance, then Farinet is the place to go. Voted the ‘Best Apres Ski Bar Worldwide’, Farinet guarantees a party every night of the week! They can raise the roof and let in the sun and/or snow by opening up the bar’s retractable roof, keeping you cool while the party heats up. If you want to continue the night, you can move to The Lounge for some incredible DJ sets and soak up the ambience with a cocktail and Asian Fusion dishes.
Le Shed
If you like a classic unctuous burger, Le Shed will not disappoint. The menu features a range of delicious fillings, sauces, and sides, including their incredible spicy wild wings. Booking a table here isn’t possible, but you can enjoy a cocktail at the bar and soak up the vibrant atmosphere while waiting. It is the perfect option for a more relaxed evening and a favourite among teenagers.
Le Rouge
Located at the bottom of Le Rouge piste and easily accessible by skis, sledge, foot or car, the Le Rouge restaurant is always popular. The post-skiing atmosphere is forever vibrant, with live bands and DJs on the terrace. Not only does the menu offer a fantastic range of drinks, but it also has a varied food menu with steak, tartar, burgers, ribs, and signature salads. On a Friday (and Saturday) night, they also host a ‘Funky Fondu’ night, combining delicious cheeses and wines with a DJ who provides the tunes so you can ‘eat to the beat’. It’s a unique experience you’re unlikely to find elsewhere!
Le Carrefour
Located at the top of the La Rouge piste, Le Carrefour is the longest-running restaurant in Verbier, and it’s clear why! The menu includes Swiss specialities superbly executed, such as fondu, rosti, and their house speciality, L’Avalanche, a trio of exceptional cheeses. The location and the view across the town are reason enough to visit Le Carrefour, and the excellent food is the cherry on top!
The Best Mountain Terraces in the 4 Valleys
Le Dahu
Le Dahu is possibly the best mountain restaurant in Val de Bagnes. Popular with locals and visitors alike, it offers great food, refreshing drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere. It also has one of the most picturesque mountain terraces with stunning views across the valley and mountains beyond. This is an ideal location to enjoy your afternoon tipple whilst your little ones practise their snow ploughs.
La Marmotte
On the sunny slopes of Savoleyres, the terrace at La Marmotte has an incredible view of Verbier town and across the valley to Bruson. Savoleyres itself has much to offer in terms of skiing opportunities and is somewhat undiscovered by many visitors to Verbier, making its slopes quieter than other parts of the four valleys. La Marmotte offers a traditional menu, with Swiss favourites such as fondu and raclette, making it a gorgeous lunch stop on a crisp winter day.
Chez Dany
Hidden away amongst the trees, this magical mountain terrace can be reached by skiing down the itinerary ‘Clambin’ or on foot via a woodland footpath that leads to this authentic setting. With panoramic views, this is a popular hideaway for discovering the seasonal menu with friends.
Le Mouton Noir
With a sun-soaked terrace larger than the restaurant, this is the perfect place to even out your goggle tan and rest your ski legs. Located next to the Ruinettes lift up from Verbier town and with easy access from various runs, it’s the perfect place for non-skiers and skiers of all levels to meet for lunch. It is also perfectly placed to watch the parapenters take off and soar across the valley or perhaps take a flight down yourself with our friends Mike and Stu at Verbier Summits.
(and finally…!) Chalet Pierre Avoi
In Winter or Summer, the terrace at Ski Verbier Exclusive’s Chalet Pierre Avoi is an incredible spot to relax after a physical day of skiing or hiking in the mountains. The huge south—and west-facing terrace has jaw-dropping views of Combins and the Mont Blanc Massif, and its outdoor hot tub is the perfect place to unwind.
