Ski Instruction

Verbier has several dedicated nursery slopes situated around the village and great ski schools. However, we understand first-time skiers or more nervous children may need extra help or encouragement. Your concierge will discuss any concerns you have to make sure that you get exactly the right instructor or ski school. And don’t worry, your Chalet Manager will always be on hand to help iron out any problems should they arise.

Non-skiing activities

For the younger children, a morning’s skiing is often enough, but there are plenty of other activities to keep them entertained. From climbing walls to cookery lessons, your concierge will be happy to suggest fun non-skiing activities.

All our chalets are well-equipped to keep your children entertained. Some have games rooms and pool tables and all chalets have Apple TV giving access to Netflix, BBC iPlayer and NOW TV. For post skiing fun, some chalets also have hot tubs and indoor swimming pools.

Baby Equipment

Travelling with young children can be quite stressful. It can also involve bringing  a fair bit of equipment. Your dedicated concierge will be able to help with this.  Whether you are bringing a newborn or toddler we can arrange for whatever equipment you need.   We have everything from sterilisers to stairgates and we will even buy nappies for you so that you can relax the moment you arrive.

Child-Friendly Meals

We also want our younger guests to enjoy their mealtimes and our friendly team of chefs can prepare early child-friendly dinners on request. Our chefs can accommodate even the fussiest of eaters, and we are very happy to plan a menu in advance following discussion with Mum and Dad.

Childcare

We work in close partnership with the superb nanny and babysitting service, Petit Verbier.  They also run a kids club – a perfect option if you don’t want to come down the mountain to collect after ski school!
