We understand that you and your children may have very different experiences of family skiing holidays and different ideas of what constitutes fun during a family holiday. Our concierge team will take the hassle away and arrange ski lessons that suit any level, age and ability – whether you require English-speaking nursery slope tuition or an adrenaline-filled off-piste adventure. Your concierge manager can arrange childcare for the little ones, entertainment for your teenagers and even an evening of night sledging back from a restaurant.

If it’s your first family ski holiday, you might have many questions about the logistics, from what to pack to how to get to ski school on time. What happens at lunchtime? How experienced will the nanny be? Will there be stair gates? Do I need to bring a cot? (Yes, there will be stair gates and no.. you don’t need to bring a cot!). All of these questions are normal, and whilst it might be your first family ski holiday, remember that it certainly isn’t ours! During the pre-holiday planning with your dedicated Concierge Manager, we will cover every aspect of the week ahead. This is your chance to tell us exactly what you want and for us to make your ski dream a reality. We will ask you many questions, but this is to ensure we are singing from the same hymn sheet; we aren’t just being nosey!

If you would like to book the children into ski school (which we would advise), we will ask you some detailed questions to enable us to hand-pick the best ski instructor. A good ski lesson is the crux of a good ski holiday – get it right, and the children will learn how to ski and grow in confidence. Get it wrong (which isn’t an option for us!), and it might put them off for decades. We work with the best ski school partners in the resort, so you can be assured the children will be in the safest hands. If you prefer to go down the private lesson route, which is the most tailored approach, then the same rules apply – the instructor will be handpicked to suit the age, ability and personality. The beauty of a private instructor is they are just for you. They’ll come to the chalet to meet you beforehand and tailor the day's route to suit the skier in question.
