Easter In Verbier

Why not spend Easter in Verbier? Here’s what you can expect from the 2021 season with Ski Verbier Exclusive.

The Easter holidays are about spending some much-needed downtime together as a family, enjoying long sunny days up the mountain before kicking back in front of the fire with a rich slice of chocolate cake in one hand and a glass of champagne in the other – this is the life! Our 16 luxury chalets vary in size, features and style, but they all are family-friendly; we know how important and perhaps daunting it can be to travel as a family for the first time, but we are here to help every step of the way. Our pre-arrival concierge team, many of whom are mothers, know the importance of selecting a good ski school and ensuring you have everything you need in place for your arrival, from potty to paints and nappies to swimming noodles. We’ve got it covered.

One of our favourite things about Easter is welcoming back familiar faces, lots of our guests have been staying with us for many years and our team have known the children from day 1, learn to ski, grow up and sometimes return with their own children!  It’s like welcoming back friends, they know us and our service so well and we know exactly what they need to make a really special family holiday.

One of our most popular Easter treats is our famous St Bernard, Nimba, who you can meet for walks, which children (and adults!) really enjoy. There are many different activities for all ages, such as dog sledging and Easter Egg hunts organised by our chalet teams. Whether our guests would like to stick to something they know and have done before or want to push themselves, perhaps with an off-piste day with a guide or go heliskiing. They could also stay local and do a chocolate-making class or go to the local fromagerie to learn how to make raclette cheese – my favourite! Our partners here in Verbier are really amenable to helping us adapt things to suit the guests. We’re really lucky with that.

Another popular activity is Easter egg painting classes at the local Mountain Thyme Cookery School. In our chalets, our chefs are very experienced, and they constantly bounce ideas off each other and mix things up with seasonal menus. Easter is barbecue season, and we do whatever we can to dine alfresco—the longer days and warmer weather make a huge difference!
